No change at the AHK forums as yet, not really a big issue. Tried out a game over there created in V1, he said he derived much of his impetus from ChatGPT, looks this will become more of a thing in the future.
Somehow Co-Pilot got switched on in W11 here, and the bottom right minimise_all_windows area was turned off.
And something has happened to the mouse in that bottom right area – if approaching that area at moderate speed or greater, the cursor relocates to around an inch above the taskbar on the right. And the resolution of the second (TV) monitor was somehow set to 640X480. Pretty sure it wasn’t PrgLnch, since it hasn’t been launched for ages. 🫤

And another one, when we go, let’s all get prepped up for the big Welcome Party those Pesky Past Spirits will be throwing, and, horrors upon horrors, if no party, we’ll be doing the throwing! 😛

One of our favourite licorice mfgs have finally hit the ether, confectionary is a tough game, and the first cab off the block in tough times. Here the plan for a lucrative luscious licorice patch remains pre-liftoff- though with possible health benefits, a marketing approach is for a worldwide distribution of Likeable Licorice Health Balls- what’s in a name I hear you ask?
The photo of Arnie and statue still pops up all over the place, explained here.

Vaguely recall Night Game, standard fare for a storyline dappled with embellishments wrought into the pressing matter of that bad old killer being brought to account.
It’s generally accepted Rabbits have enjoyed hearty attention by film directors of the ages, scarce few of those have attempted such delicate and sensitive treatment of sheep as seen in Black Sheep. The gore alone would put most slashers out of business, and has not only put horror back into comedy, but comedy back into horror! And yep, comedy is a funny word when used to describe something you’re never going to laugh at. 😛

What’s changed with graphic drivers on Windows over the years then? 😛
Still on ver. 2022.1130 here, thought I updated by installing over- might have to perform a cold refresh. In any case it seems that HYPR-RX won’t be on for the poor old 550, with FPS maxing out at 300, so unable to test. Did notice the settings for Skyrim exactly matched the settings which I had just changed a minute ago, so the game profile info got nixed as well. 🙁
One redeeming feature is the drivers seem to tap into some of the monitor functions, except notably for view port monitor button twiddles. 🙂
Turned on the Display Overrides in Adrenalin after accepting the EULA, won’t let me turn it off again!

High energy on steroids! Wonderful. By stark contrast, this beauty from Confessions of a Dangerous Mind:

Ehm, back on track – have you encountered the Plasmatics’ rather zany crusade against the poor old CRT creations of the day? It’s well known that Plasmas didn’t really take off until the 90’s so was it uncanny clairvoyance or something else?

This old chestnut featured in Confessions of a Gong Show Tragic:
Q: Do you know what the difference is between toilet paper and a shower curtain?
A: Oh. So it’s you then.

Might have seen it sometime pre-millennia, standard fare, Yvonne de Carlo could have insisted on a better direction perhaps, would there be any truth in suggesting that being Merman’s wife well and truly wore her out?
Not sure about Confessions of a Dangerous Mind either, there’s something in it that does not attract, perhaps the matter-of-fact dialog style – and the as-you-please or “laissez-faire” directorial approach. A pre-viewing requisite would be some knowledge of Chuck Barris, who compered the Gong Show. For redeeming features, a second (viewing) opinion is required, so one for the backburner. 🙂
Bill & Ted, for me the Beavis and Butthead of Sci-Fi fantasy- doesn’t quite fit, but there you go. Bogus Journey had a couple of gags including the seance scene:

Lucky me, still have 5.1.1, got a boatload of default Apps to remove or trim down, before the fateful arrival of 6. 🙂
Unlucky, as the SIM for the new tablet won’t work, which means making arrangements for the presentation of this bare neck to the vampires of tech support! 😛

American Hustle is worth a look, loud blaring dialog, music and effects are de rigueur in making everything come across as more convincing, did note the nutritional reference in microwaving food, which, believe it or not, sparked a law suit.
Monster In Law came up with one or two memorable gags, plus a bonus surprise in the TV scene:

Yeah, Taskbar Settings => Widgets, turn off, don’t use MS Widgets here much as heavily dependent on FTA state media news delivery. The default settings of the widget entails quite a bit of polling from news/weather servers, given some investment in time, you could get them to filter thing to taste. 🙂
Updated VS, but still to get something up on it.
Posting something new at the AHK site is weird, since there’s an hourglass on the tab/window for about 20-30 seconds after posting. Yet opening the same topic in another tab/window reveals it is already posted while the hourglass remains. Might be be something related to a Cloudflare setting, who knows?

Ooh, Galactus showed up on that page. Lovely, it’s very much like a Jack Kirby production:

Cool, the Indexed site sports an xkcd comics vibe to it, which makes sense as it launched just after, in 2006. Do identify with the conception of our measure of time, it’s possible the reverse can be true, things are trending to less complicated, well explained, and bundled with instruction manuals written in universal and easily decipherable languages such as Mathematics and Gravity!

It’s in tomography, imaging scans are possible, is there much tech available for it?
                              You mean this?
                              Power Girl and Snowman
Regardless of the very forgiving nature of Power Girl, the shop will still have to answer to Snowman!
There are heaps of posters available, even figurines, have you found any any larger than this one?
As well as the ages of the earth, quizzlings (not to be confused with quislings) must be knowledgeable on the atmospheric layers:
                              Ionosphere in atmosphere
Gets warmer in the ozone layer, and again in the thermosphere!

In Space, No One Can Eat Ice Cream

Only Ice-Kream, a speciality available only from Killer Klown Konfectionary! Did see the film an awful long time ago – do have an eye out for the merch, a welcoming doormat is just the thing!

Talking of quiz shows, there is no series 6 of Mastermind Australia (yet), consequently reruns have been placed in the usual time slot for the tragics looking for a kwik Kwiz fix.
Mind you, to date no-one here has offered Mastermind Killer Klowns as their special subject of interest, and the same can be said of Hard Quiz. Guaranteed to change if there is ever a remake! 🙂

😀 Draw the FuddGates! That man has to be held culpable for Fudding the landscape with wascally wabbits!

Could have been a directorial ploy to grab the attention of certain patrons known to fall asleep in those dark, dank, smoky cinemas of yesteryear, because they have each borne witness to predictable plots and lifeless acting all before. Either that, or a directorial overdose of amphetamines, prompting a sudden desire to end the current plot and introduce new sets and characters as promotion for their next up and coming, but completely unrelated hit movies!

Do faintly remember seeing this before, A_Fistful_of_Dollars, there is a solid Clint fanbase over here down under, so our hero is sure to rise on one channel as soon as he sets on another. The film is just about as brutal as any slasher, eclipsing the finer points of Leone’s styling, hence unable to dispel the dubiousness in Rotten Tomato’s rating of #8 in their top 100 Westerns. (Well, looking at that list, Wikipedia is out of date, as it is now #14, replaced by Unforgiven at #8).
OTOH, there may not be more than around 20-30 westerns in that list worth seeing (again) in any case, which is testimony to the eternal critical dilemma, a “good” film may not always be an “enjoyable” one. 😛

Funnily enough, the movie was originally entitled Rabbits.
You know, Google yields no Rabbit World amusement park, there are games, RabbidsLand and Rabbit World though.
Do watch for those Wabbits – could this be admitted as the main theme for the film?

These days it may require some exertion to get one’s head around Empire Magazine’s ranking of The Long Good Friday as number 19 in the top 100 British films for all time. For me, top notch B-Grade. 😛
If you ever wish to entertain any empathy for real estate salesmen, do not proceed to place GenGarry Glen Ross on the watchlist, but then you will miss out on the finest dialogue ever constructed from expletives and deletives alone. Recommended. 🙂

Updated the forum’s General Info & Feedback
Yay, a Sierra game, too, my first “true” gaming experience in Windows was traipsing the length and breadth of Leisure Suit Larry World. 😛
Was it the remake you played? if one didn’t mind loading up from the CD packs, the original Homeworld would have run very well on the Windows 98/SE rig with the RAP-10 playing the OST. Don’t recall where the card ended up though, if it turns up, will post to H/W Relics. It cost a bit – must have been general compatibility issues by the mid to late naughties.

Another gotcha is is folding bikes were more popular, their parts would be cheaper to make and distribute. Do like the quick release system on bikes, it’s funny that idea was never successfully extended to heavier machinery e.g. wheels on cars. A quick release 20 ton backhoe. 😛
Good to know they can work for things like battery terminals.
Perhaps we are in a silly universe already, so we have no idea what isn’t! 🙂
After watching reams of quiz shows and the like of the years, have eventually come to the conclusion the periodic table knowledge is on the fritz. These things will help a little:

Roadhouse had one good quote based on an old theme,- it was the occasion when Red West was asked a seemingly rhetorical question, he replied: Does a hobby horse have a wooden dick?.
Saw the first episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender, it’s very good, though given the glowing reviews, did expect a little more in the graphics detail. The stories fill the 30 minute slot too well perhaps, and there was the novel experience of Roku coming through the Roku box. Have you seen it?
The aliens in Mars Attacks! were hilarious, the humans not so much, and the throwaway plot could have done with a brush up. It’s fair to say the new entrants to Mt. Rushmore are now etched permanently into memory!
