Ah yes, a fairly positive reader reaction at Goodreads. Having completed Wayward Pines, Dark Matter is next?
The hourly could mean 80% chance of the 20% weekly happening in the next hour, or could the weekly mean there’s a 20% chance of 80% happening each and every hour, as opposed to a random hour. ๐Ÿ˜›
Bunker up though, any plants in pots are best kept close to a brick wall for best results.

For the sheer delight of everyone, they played the Double BongCloud Attack, but hey wouldn’t that go down super well in the rapid tournaments. The game would be over even before the players had settled in their chairs!

How odd, the dates for expiry on the certs (excluding the mail related) were set for the 13th of February. Looks like they have been manually regenerated then, still no confirmation from the providers. The full WHM access allows for some AutoSSL tweakage, not sure if it would have helped us here though.
        Edit: They came back with:

This may be considered as a slight glitch as Auto SSL is being renewed automatically.

Despite the overly technical overtones given in the explanation, we will also happily note the mention of Bethesda Softworks in Wikipedia’s Video game glitches. ๐Ÿ˜›

Happened again at the day of this posting, AutoSSL times out, the internal cPanel error with the certificates was:

The installed certificate does not cover this domain

All of a sudden, three hours later, the certificates are fine. No word from the providers as yet, so just in case they missed it, requested a reason for the outage. The certificates are to expire in two weeks time, wonder if this is some kind of “nudge” to make preparations for their renewal, or just another bog standard glitchy software stall.

All right, went and suggested it. They do that over here, a continual succession of James Bond, Lara Croft, Harry Potter, Night at the Museum, Indiana Jones etc. etc. reboots. Fair to say that most JB movies are worth a second look. ๐Ÿ™‚
Kiel was truly a giant of television, this guy is a monster! ๐Ÿ˜›
For fans of movies with female heroines, Haywire is a slick piece, David Holmes’ score has a clangy sixties feel and the direction necessitates tight action sequences and cool chases. Stellar cast. It’s also viewable on YouTube. ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice list from the other thread, hovercraft were all the rage in the 60s and 70s, not so much in the later Bond movies. The Griffon 2000TD operated by Brosnan in Die Another Day wasn’t listed, wonder why.
About an hour into The Voyeurs, changing the channel was very tempting, so equipped with the desire for absolute martyrdom persisted with it, and, well, was somewhat rewarded with the inclusion of this fable. The FTA described had the film as a drama, so expected a mild, yet interesting convolution in the plot. Wikipedia has it as erotic thriller, so not surprisingly, spoiler alert yet unbelievably a death.
The critics are right about the characters, they want a lot more oomph if you like, could be an issue with the script as well. Someone from RT called it “Gussied up smut,” wouldn’t go that far. The redeeming features were the easy pace, some of the characterizations, that warm “B” grade feel, and the revelations at the end. 6.5/10 here.

LAA flag is just a setting for the linker in the 32 executable code, PrgLnch will set it for sure.

Boing-Boing don’t like the host listings, so up goes a blocker/wall without a booiiing sound effect. Do remember seeing that, Laurie chucked in a few goodies like the familiar Also sprach Zarathustra, pinched later by Kubrick and his gang:

The Two Faces of January (film) is a classy production around a rather mean plot line. The sets, the acting, the scenes and the music are all to die for! ๐Ÿ™‚
The Green Veil is an oddball bang/crash glim/glam venture into the 1950s world of the Navajo stolen generations. Episodes are only 20 minutes which adds to the novelty. Another eyecatcher is the UFO diner in the final episode – should grab a piccy of it sometime.

One fine orchestrator for film scores is Alberto Iglesias – here’s the main titles from The Two Faces of January:

Here’s one from Broken Embraces with cool still-image warping visuals on the change:

Another composer of movie music who knocks us over and round like roly poly dolls is Silvestri – here’s the theme for Father of the Bride:

He also scored for a fabulous bunch of movies like Lara Croft, Judge Dredd and the Avengers. Amazing! ๐Ÿ™‚

Can contact Nimrod if you like, although we’re not sure whether he received explicit permission in the first place, see the post. The project is so old, there’s a good chance no-one will be worried about it all that much. Does Nimrod’s licence permit a third party copying his code, and then attributing his work in the updated project?

Just curious, from the other thread, does PrgLnch help any with the monitors? Using the Lnchpad isn’t a bad idea as suggested at NexusMods listing, of course PrgLnch has its own LAA facility. ๐Ÿ™‚
Edit: Also check OS compatibility, might go better in W7 mode, for instance.
Haven’t been with Lycos.com for a while now, it’s quite nice, and Tripod still offers web publishing. Signed up to htmlGear in 2002, retired some years later, the 404 page suggests Tripod, naturally. ๐Ÿ™‚

This Catch Me a Killer series is quite engrossing in the detail of the considerable number and scale of serial killings in South Africa at the time. It stars Charlotte Hope, a seasoned actor notable from Bancroft season 2, as the lead investigative psychologist, Micki Pistorius.
In the episode The Phoenix Strangler: Part II, she relates to her companion an old story of persistence and determination related to her many years ago by an elderly relative. Back to slashers briefly, Scream VI on FTA presented plenty of excitement, thrills and spills, the violence is rampant, as expected for the franchise. Watching this through and after dinner is not recommended for the squeamish, could also be this viewer is getting too long in the dagger tooth for this kind of stuff. ๐Ÿ˜›
